The Asian Fashion Archive is a digital platform dedicated to showcasing the rich heritage of Asian fashion, culture, and history.

Founded in response to the anti-Asian racism that prominently emerged in 2020, this project is driven by a commitment to combat harmful narratives and amplify the rich and varied stories of Asian communities. 

As an academic, professional, and Asian American, I was motivated to create this project to provide a more nuanced and positive representation of Asian cultures. It is an effort to preserve stories and styles of a diverse cultural landscape.

The Asian Fashion Archive is more than a digital humanities project, but has grown to be a community where like-minded individuals can come together to share a passion for Asian culture and fashion. Here, you will find a diverse range of resources that not only educates, but empowers, while highlighting the unique contributions and experiences of Asian cultures.
